BILLYKIRK
Hello Loves,
Meet, BILLYKIRK.

Founders Chris and Kirk Bray, brothers from Tennessee, launched their line of leather goods in the spring of 1999. The name “BILLYKIRK” derives from a nickname the boys’ grandfather gave Kirk as a child. Each brother has a previous background in the arts, respectively; Before BILLYKIRK, Chris was designing and building furniture, while Kirk was busy painting. In pursuit of manifesting the ideas that eventually became BILLYKIRK, the brothers moved to Los Angeles where they began to formulate what has become a quite impressive line of leather/canvas bags and accessories.
These steampunk savvy leather goods perfectly fulfill the highest call of what a bag should be: Functional. Pleasantly for us, they achieve this vision with excellent aesthetic value: premium leather and cut and joined to create a look that is clean, simple, minimal. Since relocating to the East Coast Kirk and Chris Bray now have much of their collection made by a group of Amish leather workers in Pennsylvania making each piece genuinely and perfectly handcrafted.
We have decided to carry an extensive line of BILLYKIRK at Bonnie&Clyde’s because of the high quality and reasonable pricing of the items. The leather is all domestic or Italian premium leather that is treated to a vegetable dying which is better for the environment and ages quite beautifully.
Founder Chris Bray puts BILLYKIRK’s mission best in his own words:
“When developing the concept of our brand we knew, first and foremost, that our collection had to have a clear mission. Our thinking was that no matter what we designed it would have to be cohesive and flow nicely from one style to the next. In my opinion, this was one of the smartest conceptual ideas we had and one that guides us in all of our designs. We also decided early on that our brand would only use top quality leather and hardware. It was paramount that we started with a decent product that we felt proud to make and wear.”
When it comes to BILLYKIRK what you see is what you get; minimal, hand-stitched, modern approach to high-end leather goods.
