Alexander McQueen for Puma

The recent news of the passing of Alexander McQueen was a tragic shock to everyone and an enormous loss for the fashion industry.  Bonnie&Clyde’s has had the pleasure of carrying Alexander McQueen Puma gym shoes in our store for FW09.  The shoes have received a great response from customers.

The theme of McQueen’s line for Puma incorporated the sport of boxing represented in Photographer Nick Knight’s photographs and Alexander McQueen’s design of ‘Crane vs. Tiger’.

Here is a blurb from alexandermcqueen.puma.com:
“Unexpected and unique, Alexander McQueen PUMA defines a new provocative horizon in Sport Fashion. Founded on the union of tradition and technology, the collection juxtaposes influences delivering a visually contemporary line that is conceptually sophisticated, powerful and intricately crafted.”

McQueen was an incomparable innovator and designer in the fashion community, and as these shoes convey, his vision and design will be deeply missed.

Please stay tuned for Bonnie&Clyde’s charity auction for our remaining Alexander McQueen Puma shoes.  All proceeds will benefit the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. We will announce this auction soon.
